23 Things

You have reached my blog for 23 Things which Maryland Public Libraries are investigating this summer. What a great way to introduce staff to the new technologies available on the web. I look forward to the fun and the learning! ~ Ann

Week 5 - Play Week

#10 Online Image Generator - Avatar: I could not resist...I actually had a handbag like this one when I was in high school. Of course my jeans were patched!! No gaping holes...Gee, we might make the rip bigger getting in or out of them and then what! New jeans? NO way! We took great pride in seeing how many patches we could add.
#11 LibraryThing & Cataloging Favorite Books: I explored this some ... http://www.librarything.com/ and find although a bit time consuming it might be a great way to track what I have read and be able to pull up the list when others ask " Hey, have you read any good books lately?" It often takes a couple minutes before the sparks start to fly and I can start recalling some of my favorites. I do read a lot and should probably keep a list to refer back to, if only for my own sake. On-line access -- always has its possibilities and would be easy to find. (as long as I remember my login information!!)
